I have a framed George Phillip and Son 1948 world map The London Geographical Institute. It is 911/2 " x 51 1/2 ". It is in pretty good condition. How do I find the value of this map? Thank you

Thank you for sharing these historically valuable maps. I am using a map from your site as the source for my historical investigation, and could you please give my a more specific bibliography of the book (like where/when/which publisher published etc). The map is : Vidal Lablache - Atlas General Histoire Et Geographie - 1912 Paris 1789 1789 And is this map originally drawn by Vidal de la Blache or he redrew an old map of Paris? Thank you

Question: Where/When/Which Publisher? Answer: Paris/1912/Librairie Armand Colin, Rue de Mezieres, 5, Paris

I don't know who originally drew it but there is no other reference to any other map maker in the Atlas.

I hope that helps.

congratulations for your maps. See JF Badley: "the rugged flanks of the caucasus", an old book with beautiful maps inside.
